At Windamere Park we have a unique camp service which we pride ourselves in being able to offer our participants.
All camps will encourage team building, trying new things and building of friendships. All camps offer opportunities to development independent living skills, vocational and hobby pursuits, and leisure camping Camps will utilise the farm and community to provide a full and exciting program that will have the participants create fantastic new memories with their friends. Windamere Park has a purpose-built campsite and accommodation units. Each cabin is fully furnished and climate controlled with the capacity to accommodate 1 or 2 participants with a separate area for a support worker if needed. Camp begins at 3pm Friday when our day program concludes and concludes at 3pm Sunday at Windamere Park. Transport options will be available.

CAMPSITE
A recent addition to Windamere Park is our new purpose-built campsite and accommodation units.
The camps are “themed” and offer the development of independent living skills, vocational and hobby pursuits, leisure camping and team building exercises. Each cabin is fully furnished and climate controlled and able to accommodate groups or individuals for 1 or 2 nights.
GETAWAY CAMP
Getaway Camp aims to provide and support campers to experience a night away from home and give the opportunity to development lifelong friendships as well as valuable independent living skills. It will provide participants with a traditional camping experience, focusing on cooking, fishing, going for night hikes to spot wild animals, playing field games and of course, making s’mores while telling stories around the fire.
BREAKAWAY CAMP
Our Breakaway Camp focuses itself on vocational skills and incorporating these specific skills into team challenges. These challenges include a raft building competition where campers must use a budget, design and build a raft, as well as use the appropriate tools and resources. The camps aim to support participants development of communication skills, appropriate workplace conduct and team building through an engaging and fun program.
